About Me

A journy from the depths of mathematics to infinite analytics...

My education is done in mathematics from 1997 to 2010 and after that I devoted myself to mathematics and teaching it until 2020. In this journey, I have experienced of 13 years of university faculty and training of more than 20 graduate students and publishing several scientific articles. My first acquaintance with data was when I started research as a reasearch associate at ryerson University in 2015. Since then I have tried to put myself in the middle of this endless sea and the close connection of this field with my understanding of statistics and mathematics has made this subject much more attractive and tangible for me.
The begining of the Bootcamp program was the turnning point of this story because I wanted to learn from a structured curriculum that will teach me the knowledge needed to succeed in the data analytics field. As expected of a bootcamp, the fast-paced curriculum, complemented with direct interactions with teaching instructors/assistants, accelerated my learning efficiency. Fast forward 7 months, I am now able to develop deep learning projects from scratch using Python's web-scrapping tools, create advanced data visualizations by manipulating databases, and uncover trends and seasonality within datasets using sequence prediction techniques!

Education

University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada | Dec 2020 - Jun 2021

Data Analysis & Visualization

An intensive program focused on gaining technical programming skills in Excel, VBA, Python, R, JavaScript, SQL Databases, Tableau, Big Data, and Machine Learning.

Science and Research Branch University, Tehran, Iran | Aug 2005 - Sep 2010

Ph.D in Applied Mathematics (Numerical Analysis)

A focused five-year program of research on solving Integral Equations numerically using Triangular Functions. The results of the research include a comprehensive numerical method inspired from a physics technique with validity and accuracy which can be used for functional equations including IEs and IDEs of the first and second kind, singular, system of nonlinear IEs and IDEs and also optimal control time-varying and time delay systems governed by IEs. The achievements of this program include more than ten ISI articles published in international scientific journals.

Yazd University, Yazd, Iran | Aug 2001 - Sep 2003

M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (Optimal Control)

A study of singular systems in control theory and a comparison of the present numerical methods

Isfahan University, Isfahan, Iran | Aug 1997 - Sep 2001

B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics
